Stewart offers one-on-one instruction in black and white printing techniques for beginner and intermediate photographers.  In his fully equipped commercial darkroom, Stewart can help teens and adults refine skills or learn new ones and appreciate both the technical and creative aspects of black and white printing.

Students can learn:

•Fine art archival black and white printing techniques

•Negative development

•Finishing and spotting

•Creating a darkroom

•Presentation and exhibition techniques

Stewart has taught photography and traditional black and white printing at Burlington College in Vermont and at AS220, the arts collective in Providence, RI.
